A court in The Hague heard the case against five suspects more than 15 years after the eviction of a squat on Amsterdam’s Passeerdersgracht. The case concerned an alleged reversal of the order during events surrounding the eviction.

A lawyer for the suspects said the demonstration had been peaceful. A separate report said police used batons, but did not provide further details.
