A court case in Leeuwarden was due to involve Bill Gates, former Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and 15 other defendants on charges related to allegedly harmful COVID-19 injections. Gates was not expected to travel to Friesland for the proceedings.

The defendants were due to defend themselves in court on Thursday.
