Police mounted a large response after two people in military-style clothing carrying weapons were seen running in the car park of Field’s shopping centre in Copenhagen. The centre is near the Bella Center, where a Comic Con event was taking place, and police initially treated the situation as suspicious. The alarm was later found to be false.

Police said the people were wearing costumes and had not realised they could cause panic. The investigation was completed, and authorities asked people to remain calm and follow instructions during the response.
