Woonstichting Land van Altena is revising plans for the former volkstuinen in Nieuwendijk after local residents objected to earlier proposals, which they considered too high, too massive and unsuitable for the village character. The housing foundation said it was taking the reactions seriously and would involve the neighborhood more explicitly in developing the new plans.
