Construction of the railway line between Veendam and Emmen in the Netherlands continues, according to the mobility plans of Infrastructure Minister Vincent Karremans (VVD). The cabinet also continues to invest in the railway near Meppel, which is described as important to Groningen. The planned full duplication of the N33 between Zuidbroek and Appingedam also continues, while the section between Appingedam and Eemshaven will not be duplicated.
