Students in Zwijndrecht described fighting, threats, extortion and the sharing of violence on social media around schools. Behavioural expert Kees van Overveld said adults were failing to respond adequately, creating what he called a moral no-man’s land. He identified four possible solutions and argued that the causes of the violence should be studied seriously.
