The Amsterdam Public Prosecution Service paid €300 in compensation to each of 32 people who demonstrated against coronavirus measures at Museumplein in March 2021. Their area bans, imposed in connection with the demonstration, were found to have been unjustified.

The protesters’ lawyers were also reimbursed.
