A fish cutter collided with a tugboat towing a residential ark on the Markermeer, on the navigation route towards Lelystad. Several people sustained minor injuries, but none required hospital treatment. One person was assessed by a nurse from a Coast Guard search-and-rescue helicopter. The residential ark developed a leak. Firefighters sealed the hole and prevented it from sinking. The cause of the collision is not yet known.
