A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a van on the Oostzanerdijk in Amsterdam-Noord. Emergency services, including the fire brigade and a trauma team, attended. The cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance, followed by the trauma team.

Police closed the road and are investigating the cause of the collision. The van driver was taken to a police station for questioning, as is standard in serious accidents.
