Avans University of Applied Sciences is closing the St. Joost School of Art & Design location in Den Bosch and consolidating its art programmes at its campus on Claudius Prinsenlaan in Breda. The school had operated in Den Bosch for more than 210 years.

Avans said declining student numbers make it too difficult to maintain educational quality at two locations. St. Joost will continue in Breda.
