A few hours after a call for churches across the country to host status holders, the first registrations were made with the Action Accommodation Initiative. John van Tilborg, co-organiser and director of the International Network of Local Initiatives with Asylum seekers (INLIA), said that one church had space for three people in a small vacant village.
