Children vote father off transport company board

Pieter Smit, 71, is reported to have been voted off the board of the transport company he founded after his children said he continued to interfere. The company had become a major player in the European entertainment industry, with hundreds of trucks and dozens of touring buses; Smit handed it over to his children two years ago but remained involved until the vote.
