Residents of several homes on Eindstraat in Haren, in the municipality of Oss, reported a penetrating chemical-like smell from Saturday night that caused irritated eyes and, for some, a taste on the tongue. Some residents were unable to sleep, opened their windows or left their homes as a precaution.
