Director Char Li Chung presents Romeo and Juliet as a story of revolutionary love in an increasingly hateful world. Chung says the production is intended as a wake-up call about the need to change people’s behavior and the system, and dedicated it to a three-year-old niece of Moroccan-Dutch-Italian-Chinese heritage.
