Rotterdam mayor Carola Schouten travelled to Seville while Feyenoord prepared to play Real Betis in the Champions League. She planned to meet Feyenoord’s management and the mayor of Seville.

In Seville, Schouten wanted to see how the authorities were handling the arrival of thousands of Feyenoord supporters. She also discussed addressing supporter-related problems with Feyenoord. She is still in the Spanish city.
