A caretaker was found injured by colleagues at about 11:00 on Saturday in an indoor enclosure at Safaripark Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek. She was taken to hospital, and her family was notified.

The cause of her injuries remains unclear. One report said she may have been attacked by a predator, while another said the enclosure may have housed panthers. Police notified the labour inspectorate.
