Two cars were destroyed by fire in the early hours in Boerhaavestraat, Geleen. Emergency services were alerted at about 01:05, and one of the vehicles had been parked in a disabled space and displayed a disability parking permit. Police are investigating the fires.

An earlier report also described a car fire overnight from Monday to Tuesday on Dunantstraat in Geleen. It is unclear whether that fire was connected to the two burned-out cars in Boerhaavestraat.
