A car burned out in woodland along the Oosterplasweg near the Oosterplas in Den Bosch during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Firefighters were initially called for a reported forest fire, but found a car ablaze when they arrived and extinguished it.

Police are investigating the burned-out vehicle. One report said the car appeared to have been dumped and deliberately set alight; its cause was unclear. The same report said it had not been registered as stolen by Thursday morning and was believed to be from Schijndel.
