A woman drove her car into the water on Travelersweg in Amsterdam-Noord in the afternoon. Her daughter, who was driving behind her, jumped into the water and helped rescue her mother with police assistance.

The woman did not need hospital treatment. A trauma helicopter or mobile medical team was deployed, which police said is standard when a vehicle enters the water. The cause of the incident remains unclear.
