Platform Accessible Westerkwartier has been urging the municipality for two and a half years to build a zebra crossing on De Gast in Zuidhorn, near the Health Centre. Platform member Haaije Kempenaar said the crossing there is unclear as traffic increases, particularly bus traffic.

The municipality has not built the crossing, according to the account.
