Cabinet proposes criminal penalties for obstructing deportation
◆1 source
The Cabinet plans to submit a bill on Wednesday to allow criminal proceedings against foreigners who do not cooperate with their deportation. The proposal is intended to replace the criminalisation of illegal residence, which was rejected by the First Chamber in April, and could result in prison sentences for people described as obstructing their return.
