The cabinet has raised concerns about fundamental rights and the privacy of parents and children in proposed European rules on children’s internet use. State Secretary Willemijn Aerdts for Digital Trade and Sovereignty plans to discuss the issue with European counterparts to seek safeguards for those rights and privacy.
