Death of Love Affair singer Steve Ellis

British singer Steve Ellis, the former frontman of Love Affair, died at the age of 76. People close to him said he had long suffered from lung problems and had stopped performing last year because of his health.

Ellis sang Love Affair's version of “Everlasting Love”, recorded in 1967 and released as a hit in 1968. He left the group at the end of 1969 and later continued performing in various bands for decades.
