Omroep Brabant’s television news program Brabant News was reported to be continuing under the name Brabant Today after almost 30 years. The program has a redesigned studio with warmer colors, wood and a vertical screen, while presenters are given more space to tell stories in a less formal and more personal way.

The format is intended to focus more on subjects that concern people in Brabant, audience questions, street interviews and positive news, alongside major news. The first episode was scheduled for Monday at 17:30 and was made available to watch live. Its listed topics included Waalwijk mayor Ausems responding to online criticism, the prosecutor seeking nine months for a cat shooter, and a visit to Ravenstein with a tree worker.
