A bowling alley was proposed as a way to make the seaside resort of Kijkduin more attractive to visitors. Developer Roeland Voerman said it was what the resort needed after years of delays, departing businesses and vacant premises. The situation was also described as involving €35 million in damage, while Voerman said he saw hope for Kijkduin.
