Hang OuD, a meeting place for young people with autism aged 17 to 27, has recently started operating at the new De Kluis youth center in central Assen. Naomi de Vos, coordinator of Voorzetten at Vaart Welzijn, said the aim is to provide a safe place while also bringing the group into contact with De Kluis’s regular visitors to encourage new contacts and friendships.
