The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island was cancelled on Sunday because heavy rain and poor visibility prevented the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 races from being completed. The event is scheduled to be held in Adelaide next year.

The MotoGP sprint race was held on Saturday and was won by Marc Márquez. Jorge Martín crashed on the eighth lap, broke his right wrist and remains uncertain to race in the remaining four rounds of the season.
