An online auction of a Porsche 911 formerly used by the Dutch National Police closed after the car had been offered by a collector from Borne. The vehicle had previously been stationed in Assen and prompted memories among former police officers.

The hammer price was not reported. One report noted that a previous auction of a police Porsche had fetched a record US$250,000.
