The municipality of Assen plans to buy the Dutch Petroleum Company’s office complex at Schepersmaat, subject to approval by the city council. It intends to redevelop the roughly eight-acre site as a care campus.

If the council agrees, the municipality is expected to receive the keys by the end of January.
