Four men were arrested on 13 October on suspicion of trafficking in human beings and sexual exploitation of two Colombian women, aged 29 and 33, who were found at a house in Oisterwijk in 2025. Police said the investigation began in early 2025 after receiving information that the women may have been brought from Spain to the Netherlands and forced to work in prostitution.
The suspects, aged 23, 33, 37 and 55, are from Vught, Roermond, Bunschoten and Amersfoort respectively. They remain in custody for 90 days following a court decision. Searches of their homes led to the seizure of an air gun, money and a small quantity of drugs.
