Police and the Fiscal Information and Investigation Service arrested five men on suspicion of cocaine smuggling in the port of IJmuiden during the night of 24 to 25 October. Officers patrolling the port intercepted the group as they were allegedly preparing to retrieve cocaine from beneath a seagoing vessel that had arrived from Colombia the previous day.
