Police arrested a 23-year-old man from Vaassen and a 25-year-old man from Ede on suspicion of involvement in large-scale bank help-desk fraud. They are suspected of operating a criminal network.

The investigation by the Rotterdam Cybercrime Team involved three weeks of monitoring the suspects’ servers. The reported method used a fake voice impersonating a bank and is linked to 170 victims and losses of €380,000.
