Police arrested an 18-year-old man from Amsterdam in connection with a shooting in Utrecht's Overvecht district earlier in October. No one was injured.

A single report said that three shots were fired on 14 October near the junction of Donaudreef and Maria Theresiadreef, and that the shooting may have been an attempted targeted killing. Witnesses reportedly saw a man run away. The suspect is due before an investigating judge on Friday, who will decide whether he remains in custody.
