An explosive device went off during the night from Wednesday to Thursday at an apartment complex on Prins Hendrikkade on Rotterdam’s Noordereiland, near the Erasmus Bridge. No one was injured, but the shared front door was damaged; one report also described extensive damage and writing on the building’s facade.

Police arrested a 17-year-old girl from Rotterdam in connection with the explosion. Her role is under investigation.
