Four classes from the Groen van Prinsterer primary school in Urk attended the Apollo Ensemble’s school concert Music for the Princess on Thursday. The concert introduced pupils to classical music through the story of 18th-century Princess Anna van Hannover, and the musicians let them try the instruments afterwards.

The performance was part of the 40 years of Flevoland celebrations. The ensemble played copies of instruments from about 300 years ago, including a harpsichord and a bassoon with fewer keys than a modern instrument.
