ANWB acquired Utrecht-based energy supplier NextEnergy, saying the deal brings it closer to its ambition of becoming a major player in the Dutch energy market. Both ANWB Energy and NextEnergy offer dynamic energy contracts.

ANWB Energy has 200,000 customers and NextEnergy has about 90,000.
