Opinion maker Annemarie van Gaal argued that Dutch people who are able to work should be considered first, as fewer people from Poland are coming to the Netherlands for work and companies are seeking migrant workers from other countries. She said this could reduce the need for migrant workers and ease additional pressure on the housing market.
