Anja Haga’s time as mayor of Dantumadiel has ended. She described the period as two golden years and said she had not ruled out becoming a mayor again.

More than ten years ago, Haga was reportedly the victim of digital crime after trying to pay a €70 bill. Something went wrong during the login without her knowledge; her account was then blocked and the money in it disappeared.
