Analysis finds divided views in 381 Israel Sunday services

Nieuwe Koers and Nederlands Dagblad analysed 381 services held on Israel Sunday, ranging from liberal to strongly Reformed congregations. The services reportedly included sharply differing views: one minister described Israel as pursuing “genocidal policy”, while another said that God’s people were being attacked by Satan. Amid the harsh language on both sides, the services also reflected struggle and embarrassment within churches that are divided over the state of Israel but remain conscious of their connection with the Jewish people.
