Residents of an exclusive Amsterdam neighbourhood took the city to court over its licensing of Fabel Friet on Runstraat. They said crowds drawn by TikTok had caused queues that stretched across a bridge on the Keizersgracht and had clogged the narrow street, with litter, gulls and rats among their concerns. The shop was described as attracting tourists seven days a week, with people waiting on parked cars, the street, and steps and porches. No court decision was reported.
