Amsterdam rapper Derrick O., 30, who performs as “Maycash,” is due to appear in Rotterdam on Monday for the substantive hearing in his case. He is alleged to have been the mastermind behind a gang that used chat-based scams to defraud older and vulnerable people, with at least six people allegedly taking money as part of the scheme.

These allegations have been reported; the case remains before the court.
