Signs marking the new Amstelvoorde district were installed along the Spaklerweg and near Duivendrecht station. The area west and southwest of the station was officially separated from Amsterdam-Duivendrecht in September; that remaining district is now less than half its former size. Amstelvoorde falls under Ouder-Amstel, although part of its land is in Amsterdam. Signs that were initially installed in the wrong direction on the Joan Muyskenweg were corrected the following day.
