A report described a series of Ukrainian senior officials being pushed out amid suspicions of corruption and said this reflected a changing attitude toward previously untouchable figures. Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), established after the 2013–2014 Maidan Revolution, has made progress over the past year and a half, according to the account. Its director has also reported smear campaigns against himself and the agency, along with indications that the Ukrainian security service was seeking to pressure NABU.
