Unibet-Rose Rockets announced that 50-year-old Aike Visbeek will join the cycling team early next year as head of racing. He will oversee the team leaders, coaches and performance staff as the team seeks to further professionalise its operations.

Visbeek previously worked for Giant-Shimano, SEG Racing Academy and Intermarché-Wanty. At Unibet-Rose Rockets, he will be reunited with former sprinter Marcel Kittel, who is a sprint coach for the team. The team was founded in 2023 as part of Bas Tietema’s YouTube project, later gained ProTeam status and made its debut in the Giro d’Italia last year.
