An AI system called Recording Forecaster, developed to help doctors at St. Antony Hospital’s Emergency Department determine which patients should be admitted, has been given another chance. It has so far reduced waiting times by an average of five minutes, below the hoped-for ten minutes, but its creators say it still has sufficient potential to continue.
