The posters for Koeiemart 2026 in Woerden, made using artificial intelligence, drew criticism from 87-year-old cheesemaker Jos van Riet. He said they did not convey the event’s rural character, pointing to the absence of cows and farmers and the lack of a manure smell. The local VVD also asked questions to the municipal council about the controversial posters.
