AI portraits released in Teteringen cold case

Stichting Coldcasezaken released AI-generated moving portraits of the unidentified young woman whose body was found in the Cadettenkamp forest near Teteringen on 25 December 1990. The images were based on existing reconstruction photographs and were intended to prompt recognition and help establish her identity. The case remains unsolved; reports said she had been tortured and killed, but her identity and the circumstances of her death have not been established.

The foundation also released new reconstruction images of two men and a woman whom witnesses reported seeing leave the woods around the time of the killing. Their identities and any involvement in the case remain unknown. A former journalist who has followed the case welcomed the renewed attention but said the images should not be expected to solve it on their own.
