Activists reportedly prevented the municipality of Soest from installing a badger fence in Old Temple Forest in Soesterberg. Dozens of people blocked workers in the woods. They were protesting plans to fell 1,923 trees for a new residential area.

The installation had been put on hold at the time of the report.
