Activia’s volleyball team from Sint Anthonis suffered a clear 3–0 defeat against national champions Apollo 8 in Borne. Coach Arjen Schimmel said the defeat itself was not the main concern, while the team remained competitive in a close derby it won after surrendering a lead.

The team also struggled against a taller Frisian opponent that attacked higher and harder. Activia is currently still short of the division’s best teams and said it is not yet able to match that level.
