Acquittal of abortion-clinic volunteer in Den Bosch

A cantonal judge in Den Bosch acquitted a volunteer from the Christian Prolife Association on Monday of causing a nuisance at the city’s abortion clinic, ruling that being annoying is not a criminal offence. The volunteer had been prosecuted over her presence at the clinic.

One report said the ruling does not for now change the approach in Utrecht, where Kies Leven volunteers are regularly detained at a clinic, according to the municipality.
